THE WALL THROUGH THE HOLY LAND
The Israeli-Palestinian Conflict continues to be one of the greatest threats to international peace and stability. In recent years, Israel has begun to build a wall through Palestinian territory to divide Israelis from Palestinians, adding a physical barrier to the other barriers already dividing the people. The Parks Wilson class will look at the conflict, examining the factors of history, religion, politics, and land that make up this larger wall, as well as prospects for a peace that may bring down the wall. The class is a cooperative effort of the Mission and Peacemaking and Adult Education committees and will feature a variety of print and media resources. The class will run through the end of October.
BIBLE STUDY CLASS: MATTHEW
The Bible study class will continue the study of the Gospel of Matthew which was begun in the Spring. New participants are cordially invited to join the class and should have little difficulty because it is an ongoing study, for the new material we will cover will depend very little on the material we have studied thus far. The format of the class is lively discussion led by volunteer members of the class. Come join us in the Conference room!
