The University Presbyterian Day School began in 1961 and is supervised by the Day School Committee of University Presbyterian Church. The school is a Louisiana State Class A Licensed Day School and childcare facility. We welcome this opportunity for Christian service to our community, and we are pleased that we can offer excellent education and care for young children.

Day Care is available for children from one year through four years of age. The school is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily. Children participate in weekly worship led by the pastoral staff.
University Presbyterian Day School has a state "Class A" license. Children enrolled in our Day School are provided with a high quality developmentally appropriate childhood education. The atmosphere at the Day School is a happy one in which the growth of the whole child is of utmost importance.
The Day School staff members pride themselves in providing children with a warm, loving, play-filled educational place to spend their days.
In conjunction with providing quality child care, a Morning Preschool program is provided. Children enrolled in this program attend school from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon daily. A lunch option is available. The enrollment in the preschool program is limited, so parents are urged to pre-enroll their children in the spring for fall attendance.
University Presbyterian Day School also offers a Mother’s Day Out program. This program serves children from 1 year to 3 years of age. Parents may enroll a child for one, two, or three days a week. The school is open from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., five days a week. The Mother’s Day Out program provides the same quality education as the other UPC Day School programs. The enrollment for this program is limited, so you are encouraged to enroll early.
Summer programs are available in all areas. You and your child are welcome to visit our superb school. FOR MORE INFORMATION CONTACT THE DAY SCHOOL AT 344-8077.
