Tuition is required whether or not your child is in attendance. ALL fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. There is no reduction in fees due to holidays or absences. Fees may be paid by check, cash, or money order. A receipt will be issued for all payments. Tuition is due in full on the first of the month. After the 7th of each month, there is a $10 late fee charged to your account.
RETURN CHECK FEE
A fee of $15 will be charged to your account for returned checks unpaid.
LATE PICKUP FEE
A late fee of $1 per minute per child will be charged after 3:00pm for Mother's Day Out children and after 5:30pm for the full-time program. Late fees are due immediately upon picking up your child(ren). An additional $2.50 per day will be charged for every day the fees are not paid. This is not part of the tuition and must be paid separate.
WITHDRAWAL POLICY
If it becomes necessary to withdraw your child(ren) from the Day School, a written two-week notice must be submitted to the Director. Tuition fees will be due accordingly.
A client who registers their child for any program, but decides not to come and withdraws that child is withdrawing that child from all other programs. Once a child is withdrawn or is a "no-show" for a program, they are permanently out. If a parent wishes, they may re-register the child if their place has not been filled, but will have to pay another registration fee.
DAY SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS
University Presbyterian Church has set up a Day School Scholarship Fund in order to assist families in need. All scholarships will be for one semester and will be re-evaluated each semester. Scholarships discount tuition by 1/4, 1/3, or 1/2. The Day School Committee will determine the amount awarded. Scholarship applications may be picked up in the Day School office. If you are interested in contributing to the Day School Scholarship Fund, you may make a donation or add any amount to your tuition and designate it as such.
